Mompiche is known throughout Ecuador as one of the most beautiful parts of the country. Located along the northern coast in the Province of Esmeraldas, this quaint fishing village is rapidly turning into the place to be for locals and tourists alike to relax and enjoy the tranquility of the beach.

The beachfront house is on a totally secluded 0.4 acre plot between the ocean and mangroves, right next to a coconut palm plantation. It’s just far enough away from the town to be private, yet close enough to get everything you need. The land measures approximately 110-ft (33 m) of oceanfront by 165-ft (50 m) deep.
Many local plants and trees have been cultivated around the property, including coconut palms, limes, oranges, mandarins, grapefruits, bananas and plantains. Flowers and ornamentals also adorn the landscape.
The house is built on concrete pilings for stability, security and protection from the elements. The main structure is constructed of a varnished hard wood and concrete panel roof. The main floor has a wraparound deck with vistas in all directions.
The first floor interior has a dining room, kitchen, bathroom and three bed rooms. Two of the rooms are big enough for two double beds, while the other can fit two singles, sleeping up to ten people. The second floor has been left as one large open room with private balconies overlooking the ocean and mangrove forest.
The house also has an outdoor shower, dishwashing station, and BBQ pit. Water for the house is obtained from a well on the property with an automatic pump to tanks on the upper deck. The plumbing is gravity fed from the tanks throughout the house.
